New Dates announced for May 2026
On May 17th 1966 at the Manchester Free Trade Hall, a former fan, hating that Bob Dylan was now playing with an electric band, famously shouted ‘JUDAS!’
We are delighted to mark the occasion with a short 3 date tour in the south of England. With both electric and acoustic sets this is probably as near as you can get to 1966. Enjoy. We’ re looking forward to seeing you.
“Tracking Bob Dylan’s early career as an acoustic folk singer, his days with Joan Baez and his electric awakening. For the last decade, The Bob Villains have paid homage to the musical genius that is Dylan whilst incorporating ideas from his life, writing and art into our set, including crowd favourites such as All Along The Watchtower, Like a Rolling Stone, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Mr Tambourine Man, Hurricane & One More Cup of Coffee. ”
“We're a tribute to Bob Dylan, not a tribute act. We just want to evoke some memories for you.”
